Tutorial: Connect Quicq to Magento 2
Introduction: This tutorial will walk you through the process of connecting Quicq to Magento 2. By the end of this guide, you will have successfully integrated Quicq with your Magento 2 webshop, allowing your store to load images via Quicq.
Preparation:
- Make sure you are logged in to the backend of your Magento 2 webshop.
- Open the Afosto app and go to the admin section of Quicq: https://admin.afosto.app/quicq/proxies. Here, you will find the URL for your own Quicq cdn, which you will need later.
Connect Quicq to Magento 2:
- In the left menu of your Magento 2 backend, click on "Stores".
- Click on "Configuration" under "Settings".
- Under "General", click on "Web".
- Go to "Base URLs" and update the last field, "Base URL for User Media Files," for both the regular "Base URLs" and the "Secure Base URLs".
- Enter the value of your own Quicq cdn in the base URL. The structure is as follows:
https://cdn.quicq.io/[your-url-key]/
- Click "Save Config" in the upper right corner.
- A yellow notification bar will appear at the top. Click on "Cache Management" within this message.
- Then, click "Flush Magento Cache" in the upper right corner.
Congratulations! Your Magento 2 store is now configured to load images via Quicq.
